here we go again :(

I have a 2nd degree cousin who is 3mos older than me lang. We grew up together. Syempre, always compared to each other. Pero ok lang. 

In 2009 we both got married! Both in December pa! 

The only difference is, Monica decided to have a baby right away. Of course the comparison began again. Why does she have a baby and Bea doesn’t? It’s been nonstop since Monica announced her pregnancy. 

This Saturday, Sophia, Monica’s baby turns 1 year old. Of course there is a HUGE party for the family. I can already feel the amount of comparison and comments and criticism that Hubby and I will hear. 

The worst of all of these is actually Papa. He uses very embarrassing and painful words and makes sure his voice is extra loud so that everyone in the room can hear him. 

In Mom's 50th birthday party, he shouted out a comment for all 60 guests to hear. Including Mom's high school batch mates and officemates. 

Of course I am attending the party. It is not Sophia’s nor Monica’s fault that my father is like this. Pero syempre I wish he would stop. 

If you are asking what I have done about this. I have talked to and texted Papa to please stop. Mom has also talked to him. But he seems to really enjoy embarrassing me in public :(
